Shpageeza Cricket League Centuries List

Shpageeza Cricket League Centuries List

Posted on July 27, 2025 By rehan.rafique No Comments on Shpageeza Cricket League Centuries List

Afghanistan launched their own domestic T20 competition way back in 2013 called the Shpageeza Cricket Tournament. With five participating teams, the competition is now called Shpageeza Cricket League and with 10 seasons being hosted till date, there have been some records made and milestones passed so far in the T20 franchise league.

On this page, we’re going to talk about the batters who have done well in this Afghanistan T20 competition, specifically the centurions. While it’s mostly just Afghanistan local players participating in the competition, there have been overseas players featuring in a few seasons; in fact, the first Shpageeza T20 centurion was an overseas player from South Africa.

We’re talking about Cameron Delport who was the first to make the Shpageeza T20 centuries list, smashing 100(44) in SCL 2017 playing for Boost Defenders. Including this Delport century, there have been 7 individual Shpageeza League centuries in the tournament, and all since that first one have been scored by Afghanistan local players itself.

The SCL 2019 tournament is the only one till date with multiple centuries scored, with as many as three coming in that tournament. SCL 2023 and SCL 2024 didn’t see any centurions but the drought ended in 2025. See below for our complete and in-depth Shpageeza Cricket League centuries list, last updated 25th July 2025, during the SCL 2025 tournament in Kabul:

Shpageeza T20 League centuries list

Sr. Name Team Date Score
1 Cameron Delport 🇿🇦 Boost Defenders 13 Sep 2017 100(44)
2 Javed Ahmadi 🇦🇫 Band-e-Amir Dragons 14 Oct 2019 117(63)*
3 Karim Janat 🇦🇫 Kabul Eagles 16 Oct 2019 120(63)
4 Imran Janat 🇦🇫 Band-e-Amir Dragons 17 Oct 2019 115(64)*
5 Mohammad Shahzad 🇦🇫 Mis Ainak Knights 11 Sep 2020 106(64)*
6 Rahmanullah Gurbaz 🇦🇫 Kabul Eagles 30 Jul 2022 121(48)*
7 Khalid Taniwal 🇦🇫 Mis Ainak Knights 25 Jul 2025 102(52)*
8 TBD TBD TBD TBD

No batsman is yet to get multiple entries into the Shpageeza T20 centuries list but with such young and talented players in the league, we think that can change sometime soon. National side opener Rahmanullah Gurbaz scored a century in SCL 2022 and unfortunately got out for 99 in the 2020 edition, or else he could’ve had multiple SCL centuries to his name.

Gurbaz’s 121(48)* also remains the highest score in the Shpageeza T20 competition till date, smashing his way through to a maiden century, with 7 fours and 10 sixes coming in that innings. After him, Karim Janat’s 120(63) is the second highest score in the tournament’s history till date while Javed Ahmadi’s 117(63)* is the third highest.

For the teams participating, Band-e-Amir Dragons and Kabul Eagles have got two centuries each, while Boost and Mis Ainak have got a century each in the tournament. We expect there to be plenty of growth in this league over the years and as and when there are more centuries scored in the tournament, we will update them in real-time.
